These terms apply to orders placed with House O Fish, a London-based fresh seafood business delivering fish sourced from Billingsgate Market to customers across London and the UK. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
We have kept them clear and straightforward. If anything is unclear, please just ask — we are always happy to help.

Ordering
Orders can be placed through our website or our WhatsApp community. When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase, which we confirm when we accept and prepare your order. Please make sure your contact and delivery details are correct, as we rely on them to reach you.
Product Availability
Because we sell fresh fish sourced day-to-day at Billingsgate Market, availability varies with the catch and the season. Occasionally an item may sell out or be unavailable on a given week. Where this happens, we will let you know and offer an alternative or a refund for that item.
Fresh Fish Weights & Natural Variation
Our fish are natural products, so exact sizes, weights and appearance vary from fish to fish. Where products are sold by weight or approximate weight, small natural variations are normal. We always aim to be as accurate and fair as possible, and to give you genuine value.
Prices
Prices are shown at the point of order and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may update prices from time to time to reflect market conditions, but any change will not affect an order we have already confirmed.
Delivery
We deliver fresh across London and the wider UK on our trusted weekly round, cold-packed to keep your fish in peak condition. Delivery days and areas are confirmed at the time of ordering — our WhatsApp group is the best place to see current availability and cut-off times.
Failed Deliveries
Please make sure someone is able to receive your order, as fresh fish cannot be left unattended for long. If a delivery fails because we could not access the address or no one was available, we may be unable to refund perishable items. If a delivery fails for reasons within our control, we will arrange a refund or redelivery.
Preparation Requests
We are happy to prepare your fish to your liking — gutted, scaled, filleted or whole. Please include clear preparation notes with your order or message us on WhatsApp. We will always do our best to follow your request, within what is practical for each fish.
Allergies
Seafood is a known allergen, and our products are handled in an environment where various types of fish and shellfish are present, so cross-contact is possible. If you have an allergy, please take this into account before ordering and contact us with any questions. You are responsible for ensuring a product is suitable for you and anyone you are cooking for.
Refunds
Our full approach to refunds and replacements is set out in our Refund & Returns Policy. In short: if an item is damaged, incorrect, of unsatisfactory quality, or a delivery fails for reasons within our control, please contact us on the day and we will put it right.
Liability
We take great care with every order, but to the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the value of the affected items. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

We aim to keep all information on our website accurate and up to date, but content is provided for general guidance and may change. Descriptions, seasonal availability and imagery are intended to represent our products fairly rather than as a precise guarantee of every individual fish.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, photography, branding and design — belongs to House O Fish or is used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our consent. Our customer and behind-the-scenes photography in particular remains our property.
